WORSHIP FIGHT

THIS SUNDAY NIGHT IS OUR WORSHIP NIGHT!

Or what I like to call our WORSHIP FIGHT!
It sounds cheesy, but it is the truth!..  Worship is a fight
In Psalm 103 we read how David had to command his soul to Bless the Lord!..
Even David, a man after Gods own heart, had to battle his own desires and agendas to give himself over to God!

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 we read that
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds...”
Often these verses are limited to the power of prayer, however, I believe they are also speaking of praise and worship.

Furthermore, God spoke through Isaiah about the enemies that the people were facing and said that
“Every stroke the LORD lays on them with his punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.  (Isaiah 30:32)

We need to understand that praise and worship has the power to:

a) Smash down walls around people’s hearts (Eg. Walls of Jericho -Josh 10:13)

b) Break the chains of restraint (eg. Paul and Silas - Acts 16:25-26)

c) Crush demonic strongholds (eg. When David played for Saul 1 Samuel 16:18-23)

d) Usher in the victory (eg. King Jehoshaphat - 2 Chronicles 20:21- 23)

e) Bring an anointing for the prophetic (eg. Elisha calls for a harpist 2 Kings 3:14)

We need to live this - and lead our church in it!

I am believing for an incredible night of Praise and worship this Sunday night!
Where we as a team UNITE IN BATTLE to fight for the hearts and minds of Gods people We know when the hearts of Gods people turn to him HE WILL LEAD THEM and deliver them!

Make the decision today..
Command you soul to Bless the Lord!
Don’t let circumstance or situations, tiredness or even emotions rip you off!
Position yourself in GODS HOUSE, take responsibility for your own soul and WORSHIP GOD!

Because when you turn your heart to God,
The reel battle HAS ALREADY BEEN WON
