Rev. Paulus Wiratno & Rev. Marliesye Wiratno

dMI Founder

Ps. Paulus Wiratno was born in Kendal, Central Java 1965. He has a passion to serve God through mission ministry. In 1991 the Lord called him to study at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Baguio City, the Philippines, to complete his Master of Divinity.

In 1994 he returned to Indonesia, to be a lecturer at the Seminary of Theology in Malang. He then moved to the island of Ambon in 1998 to be the Director of Kate-Kate Theological Bible School.

In the midst of raging riots during 1999 Ps. Paulus and his family miraculously escaped from Ambon, God saved and brought them to Bali. The only thing that he had was a heart full of faith, vision and a passion for the lost. Out of this he started a ministry called discipleMAKER.

Paulus together with his wife Marliesye make an amazing team, complementing each other as they lovingly serve God and his people. The discipleMAKER ministry over the years has expanded into 3 areas of ministry, namely, Mercy Indonesia, Radio Dian Mandiri and Training Centres.

In 2009, discipleMAKER is ministering to 285 orphans in 11 orphanages, has 28 radio stations which average 3000 - 5000 listeners per station, and has 1050 church planters in the remote areas of Indonesia and 10 training centres in every district throughout Indonesia.

We praise the Lord for His grace to our people, thank God for the trust He has given to us, and thank God for this ministry which blesses many people's lives.

Ps. Titus Suheri, S.Th

RDM Kediri

Ps. Titus Suheri is a pastor who has a great vision for mission. He motivates all of his congregation to participate in the mission work, and he has a passion to bless many villages through radio. He desires to use radio ministry in Kediri, East Java. He believes that through radio ministry many people's lives will be made better.

Ps. Denny Waloli, S.Th

Palu Training Centre

Ps. Deni Wololi is the leader of the dMAKER training center in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The training center was established in March 2005 and has since sent 26 church planters to the field, not only to plant new churches but also to make people's lives better. Ps. Deni's heart is to train the young native people from the Wananese and other local tribes to be pioneers. Most of the Wananese people are illiterate. They still live in trees or in the middle of the jungle. The church planters live with them and try to gather them into one area in order to settle the people into a new village. The training center trains the church planters in farming so that they can live off the land. They also learn how to make handicrafts, to build groups of villages, to build school buildings, and to teach people how to read and write.
